Mom Nonnie Challenge

As part of the Indiana Alpha “A New Beginning” capital campaign, we have launched a special challenge gift.

Mom Nonnie Owens, House Mom from 1992-2001, heard about our campaign and graciously donated $1,500. In response, we have launched a challenge gift to all brothers, but in particular brothers graduating from 1992-2004, to raise $50,000 to designate the House Directors Suite in honor of Mom Nonnie. Recently, Mom Nonnie increased her gift to $2,000 and also created a video message to us all in support of the challenge.

Like many of you, I have great memories of Mom Nonnie and the impact she had on Indiana Alpha and us as individuals. For this reason, I have volunteered to help lead this challenge and to get the word out for financial support.

We have approximately 500 brothers during this time period. What we need from each of you is to help us connect with Indiana Alpha brothers from this outstanding era and help support the challenge financially to get us to our $50,000 goal. We are seeking gifts of $1,000 or more and greatly appreciate your support. We look forward to a ribbon cutting for the House Directors Suite!

In order to ensure your gift or pledge counts toward this initiative, please follow the following instructions:

  • If giving online: In the Tribute section of our online giving form, select “In honor of” and type in “Mom Nonnie Challenge.”
  • If giving by mail: Print and fill out this SPE Purdue Pledge Form, including it with your check if applicable. Should you already have a blank pledge form, in the middle section please checkmark “In honor of” and write in clearly “Mom Nonnie Challenge.”
